Community

Jose Ortega Elementary School offers a vibrant and engaging environment where students experience more than just classroom learning. Our school calendar is filled with exciting activities that encourage fun, creativity, and community involvement. From lively school carnivals and participation in local parades to hands-on STEM nights that inspire curiosity and innovation, there’s something for every student to enjoy.

We also foster social connections through monthly restaurant gatherings, giving families a chance to come together in a relaxed setting. At Jose Ortega Elementary, learning extends beyond the classroom, creating memorable experiences that enrich our students’ education and promote a strong sense of belonging.

Our PTA welcomes volunteers at various levels, from one-time event helpers to ongoing committee members, ensuring everyone can contribute in a way that fits their schedule and interests.

Whether you have limited time or want to take on leadership roles, the PTA offers meaningful ways to make a positive impact on our students’ educational experience.
