JOES Talent Show Sign Up Deadline!
We’re excited to announce the 2nd annual Jose Ortega TALENT SHOW! This is your student’s chance to shine and share their amazing talent with friends, family and the school community. Whether your student loves to sing, dance, perform magic tricks, play an instrument, tell jokes, read poetry, demonstrate martial arts/gymnastics, or show off a special skill—we want to see it all!

Guidelines:
Students can perform individually or as a group
All acts should be 1-3 minutes long
Participants must attend the Talent Show Performance Friday, May 1st, 5-7:30PM and mandatory practice/dress rehearsal 1-2:30PM on Wed, 4/8 and 4/29 in the JOES Cafeteria
No audition needed, but we have a total of 24 spots with a maximum of 6 acts per category (Dance, Singing, Instrument, Other). We will prioritize signups from students in higher grades first, and confirm whether you have a spot in the show the week of 3/23.

Spring Auction Event
The in-person auction event features food, drinks, live bidding on high value items (with an auctioneer and all!) and silent bidding on special baskets to bring excitement and hype to the event.

Join us for our annual Halloween Parade, where students will march in costume to celebrate the season! Families are welcome to watch as classrooms parade around the schoolyard, showing off creative, spooky, and fun outfits.
Picture Day
The annual adventure in brushed hair, missing teeth, and last-minute reminders not to spill on your shirt. A single moment frozen in time, destined for fridge doors, family albums, and a future round of “remember when.”
