Updated Report Card Information

During February and March, students will be studying a particular field of engineering and designing their own solution to an engineering challenge.

The engineering projects will be presented at a schoolwide engineering expo on Thursday, March 23 6:00-7:30pm. Please mark your calendars to come out and see all of the wonderful work our students create! More info.

Come out and have a great time while raising money via an online, silent, and live auction to benefit all students at Jose Ortega. This year’s theme is a Prohibition-era night at an upscale “blind pig” (another name for speakeasy), the Blind Bear. Event info

Morning Traffic Tips

As we start the day bright and early, ready for the morning bell at 7:50am, please utilize our Morning Stop-Drop-and-Go program coordinated by many Parent Volunteers. Please be mindful of their direction as you drive up to the school to safely drop your child off in the morning.

Traffic in the morning is one-way to the west on Sargent in front of the school. Make sure your students have their bags ready and their shoes tied so they can be assisted out of the car by our volunteers.

If you would like to walk in with your child, please find safe and legal parking in the neighborhood around the school.
