JOES Weekly Newsletter -1/18

News & Events for January

Greetings Families,

I am super excited to announce our upcoming Kindness Challenge week January 22-26. Please be on the look out for a student checklist that has been distributed with many ideas of ways to show kindness to others. The goal is for our students to work through as many items and others that they think of throughout the week. On Friday, students will be compiling all of the ways they were kind on a colored post-it and we will be be putting together a mosaic wall of kindness.

Also, we will be celebrating the week with a Spirit Week. The schedule is as follows:

Monday, January 22
Spirit Day: Kick into Gear and Help Someone Near (wear different colored socks or shoes)

Tuesday, January 23
Spirit Day: Dream of Kindness (dress in pajamas)

Wednesday, January 24
Spirit Day: Crazy for Kindness (crazy socks and crazy hair)

Thursday, January 25
Spirit Day: Team up for Kindness (dress up as a twin)

Friday, January 26
Spirit Day: JOES Kids are Kind Kids (Spirit Wear or a Blue Shirt)

Have a great weekend!
